President Perrone Sends Letter to House Democrats Asking Them to Oppose Tribal Labor Sovereignty Act

Perrone AFL-CIO (2)Today, Marc Perrone sent a letter to House Democrats urging them to oppose HR 511, also known as the Tribal Labor Sovereignty Act. Scheduled to be voted upon soon, this bill uses the guise of tribal sovereignty to deny hard-working men and women who work on tribal land the right to form a union. The letter also informed House Democrats that the UFCW would be scoring this vote in our upcoming congressional scorecard. To read the full letter, click here.

Thanks for all you do for working people and its ashamed that the people we elect stop people from contracting thier labor

  2. Chuck Clark November 18th, 2015

A thousand workers about to lose their rights to a union negotiated contract? Shame on any politician who votes in favor of this act. These workers deserve a voice regardless of where they work or what they do to earn a living.
