More than 900 UFCW Local 21 hospital workers ratified their first agreement in one of the largest contracts for health workers in Washington state.
More than 900 workers at Skagit Regional Health voted overwhelmingly to ratify their first contract as UFCW Local 21 members. The contract includes wage increases based on a worker’s length of service, respect at work, and a voice on the job. Members also secured affordable health benefits with the two-year contract. The historic first contract covers one of the largest health care groups in Washington state. The contract covers registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, office and clerical workers, service and maintenance workers, and clerical workers.
