In September, a group of health care providers who work at Consulate Health Care in Pensacola, Fla., voted overwhelmingly to join the RWDSU/UFCW Mid-South Council. The employees – all women – wanted a voice on the job, respect in the workplace and fair scheduling.
“There are no words for how it feels to have a union,” said one worker. “We are so thankful for the difference it is going to make.”
