Help us highlight pay disparities on Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) Women’s Equal Pay Day, which takes place on Thursday, August 28.

The biggest wage gaps experienced by NHPI women are hidden in data that aggregates Asian Americans and NHPI people together. While Asian American women working full-time, year-round are paid 97 cents and all earners (including part-time and seasonal) are paid 83 cents for every dollar paid to non-Hispanic white men, pay disparities are more pronounced for NHPI women. NHPI women working full-time, year-round are paid 65 cents and all earners (including part-time and seasonal) are paid 61 cents for every dollar paid to non-Hispanic white men.
