On April 30, members of UFCW Local 186D who work at the G3 Enterprises Closure Division in Modesto, Calif., ratified a new contract. The G3 Enterprises Closure Division makes closures for the wine, spirits, beer and non-alcoholic beverage industry, including E & J Gallo Winery.
The four-year contract includes the highest wage increases UFCW Local 186D has ever negotiated with this employer and maintains affordable health care for the members. The contract also includes the creation of a department to address seniority issues and the addition of vacation leave policy language.
