The three-year contract includes significant wage increases, improved benefits, and enhanced 401(k) matching for its hard-working members.
UFCW Local 27 represents members at multiple credit unions across Western Maryland, ensuring that financial service workers have a voice on the job and access to the wages and benefits they deserve. This latest contract victory further strengthens UFCW Local 27’s presence in the region.
“This contract is another example of what happens when workers stand up and fight for what they deserve,” said UFCW Local 27 President Jason Chorpenning. “We don’t back down, and we don’t settle for less. UFCW Local 27 fights for working people all across Maryland and Delaware – whether it’s grocery workers, credit union employees, cannabis workers, or any other industry, we’re in this to win strong contracts that uplift families and strengthen our communities.”
