Health Care Workers in New Jersey Gain Better Wages With New Contract

About 500 members of UFCW Local 152 who work at Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May County, N.J., recently ratified a new contract that strengthens wages. These hard-working men and women, who work in nearly every department of the hospital, provide the highest quality health care services to residents and visitors of Cape May County.

The contract includes across-the-board wage increases each year for the life of the contract. In addition to these yearly increases, the contract includes adjusted wages for various positions and increases shift differentials, charge pay, and on-call pay. The contract also maintains medical benefits and allows our members more paid time off carryover than ever before.
