The UFCW has expanded its Free College Benefit to include a Bachelor’s Degree Program, allowing students to earn their degrees online through Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio, with no out-of-pocket costs or need for loans.
The new Bachelor’s Degree Program, builds on the UFCW’s Associate Degree Program which is still available online at Eastern Gateway Community College in Steubenville and Youngstown, Ohio.
Bachelor’s Degree
The UFCW’s new Bachelor’s Degree Program makes it possible for UFCW members and their families to earn this degree completely online. Bachelor’s degrees offered include:
- Teacher Education;
- Business Administration;
- Criminal Justice; and
- Interdisciplinary Studies in Humanities.
Students who have earned an Associate Degree or at least 60 credits with a 2.2 grade point average or better in the field of study are eligible for this program. Students needing pre-requisite classes or to boost their grade point average can enroll in the Free College pathway programs with Eastern Gateway Community College.
