The UFCW Women’s Network held their Eleventh Biennial Convention & Education Conference this weekend in San Diego, California.

The UFCW Women’s Network held its Eleventh Biennial Convention & Education Conference this weekend in San Diego, California. Hundreds of delegates from the U.S. and Canada attended the convention and workshops. Speakers included International Secretary-Treasurer Marc Perrone; newly-elected state Senator from California (and President of UFCW 1428) Connie Leyva; Maria Elana Durazo, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor; Dina Bakst, Co-President of A Better Balance; Liz Schuler, Secretary-Treasurer AFL-CIO, and Actress and Comedian Kim Coles.
