Nearly 100 members of UFCW Local 152 who work at the Tyson Foods plant in Vineland, N.J., ratified a new contract on June 13. These members are employed in the production, sanitation, and warehouse divisions of the plant.

The three-year contract includes guaranteed wage increases annually for the life of the agreement in addition to a ratification bonus. The second shift’s differential rate was also increased. Those who work a shift that goes into another block will now earn that shift’s differential. Funeral leave was also expanded.
“Congratulations to our members at Tyson Foods and our negotiating committee on ratifying a strong, new contract,” said UFCW Local 152 President Daniel Ross Jr. “This agreement is the result of good bargaining and our members’ willingness to stand together for a better future. When members stay united, good things happen!”
