Workers at a CVS store in Ontario, Calif., recently joined UFCW Local 1428 for the better wages and benefits that come with a union contract. The 12 CVS workers are employed as pharmacy technicians, shift supervisors and clerks. The UFCW represents over 12,000 CVS workers nationwide.

These hard-working men and women initially expressed interest in joining our union through the UFCW’s “How to Start a Union” webpage because they were concerned about insufficient pay and health care benefits and wanted a voice in their workplace.
These workers are excited to be a part of our union family.
“United, we are stronger,” said Caden Stearns, who is employed as a clerk at the CVS store.
