Support UFCW Members Who Work at Jim Beam

jim-beam-workers2

Jim Beam workers in Clermont and Boston, Ky., who are members of UFCW Local 111D, are standing up to put more trust and respect into their workplace.

UFCW Local 111D President Janelle Mudd released the following statement that describes how Jim Beam can change for the better:

“We are committed to ensuring that no worker and no member of our union family struggles alone. The main issues that we are hoping to resolve are protection of seniority, job security, clear contract language, and improvements in safety. Most importantly, we are seeking a better work/life balance and a return to the family values and heritage upon which the Jim Beam brand is based. All of us work hard and have earned and deserve a better life.”

As a union family, this attempt to advance workplace conditions at Jim Beam is important to all of us. Please show support on social media and other channels for members of Local 111D. We want to show everyone that the UFCW family stands together.
